Overlays

A need for overlays became apparent not long after the new rendering subsystem were introduced, with the most useful application being for subtitles.

The actual transparent panel and font/word rendering is handled by the CatDV's Java subtitle rendering module, which is then passed to the NativeHelper. The NativeHelper then uploads this panel to a texture set aside for subtitles/panels and renders it at high speed with the dedicated overlay pass.
